Assignments
The owner of Comeback Vintage contacted me through my retro art account on Instagram (@mai_even). Comeback Vintage is a small second-hand clothing shop that was originally run from an RV and was branded in a way that reflected this. After the owner settled down in Michigan, I had the chance to redesign the first logo and some of the branding material that I had made for Comeback vintage in the first couple of years.

In the years 2020-23, I have been in contact with CBV multiple times, not just for the logo, but also branding material such as stickers, packaging and post card illustration, Etsy shop banners and a poster/sign illustration.

Small Business Projects
The projects I have done for small businesses such as CBV have often been projects that can be completed in a very short amount of time and at a low price that fits small businesses’ budget. Usually non-vector designs will suffice for small scale businesses and the hand-drawn style often blends well with the retro aesthetic.
